LUNCH. And, quite possibly one of my favorite go to meals. Painted Hills all beef hotdogs, stuffed inside a grilled Anaheim pepper, topped with raw ‘kraut, relish and Portland’s own ketchup & mustard. Simply DELISH.

Well, I missed the blood moon. But, I got my 6am run. That’s exciting, right?! I had a little less pep in my step without my smiley furry blond beside me. Miss Roxy is spending a couple weeks at Grammy’s farm while my honey and I head to Cabo to celebrate 15 years of wedded bliss… or something like to that ;)

This photo doesn’t do this mornings breakfast justice. Sure, the food was fab — a family fave: asparagus hash with lightly fried eggs. But, the most fabulous FAB part about it — all 5 of us, crammed into the nook that seats 4, in our jammie’s cracking jokes over delish food at 7:45am on the 2nd day of Spring Break. #thelittlethings

Cookin’ up a fatty!! One of our roast cuts from the grass-fed cow we bought at Carman Ranch. I glorified my Braised Beef Chuck Roast recipe (found of the blog) and added kalamata olives and the remaining olive juice from the jar. This puppy will slow cook for 2.5 hours, making my job pretty easy tonight!  It sure looks pretty, let’s hope it’s delicious!! #MysteryMonday
