Rise and shine, its Fun-Friday! *yawn 😲 We were up way too early this morning. My boys had a 4:30am wake-up call to go fishing. Feeling ambitious, I crawled out of bed and logged 7 miles on this beautiful trail. Running. It’s so good for your soul. Clears your mind and gets those endorphins pumpin’! I’ve got a veggie frittata in the oven and whirled up a post-workout recovery drink. {both recipes are on the blog} Apparently I need to shower, my girls think I stink?! On busy nights like tonight,  I’m thankful for options like this ~ Organic Broccoli, chopped and ready to roll. Found at Fred Meyers for $3.99! 🙌 {dinner: shredded apricot chicken from the crockpot, served with broccoli sautéed in evoo & garlic, pan fried sweet potatoes and crisp apple slices}

Happy Day!! Up and at ‘em early. Rode my bike to and from the pool, swimming a mile in between. It dawned on me, it’s been weeks since I’ve posted anything! I guess it’s taken some time to acclimate to having 3 kiddos {elementry, middle school and high school ages} home with me full time.😁 We’ve been here, there and everywhere. I’ve also taken a different approach to fitness this summer, putting my Crossfit membership on hold {😢} and gearing activities towards the kids and outdoor sports. Though I miss throwing weights around, we’ve made a ton of awesome memories and my kids are having a blast. Hope you’re having a fabulous summer and taking time to breathe deep the goodness of life. 😘
